About Me
My name is Tara. There we go. I am a graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University who studied journalism and theatre. I wish to become a professional critic or a travel writer. I currently live outside of New Orleans. In the summer of 2009, I became a graduate student where I began my studies in international media in London, England.
I study English and love writing and worthwhile conversations. I dream big dreams. Travel is important to me. I want to explore hidden corners of the world and meet people with ambition. I like reading and will occasionally write short stories of my own. I'm a caffeine junky, amateur photographer, theatre enthusiast and nerd extraordinaire. I work as a freelance writer, and I design Web sites for fun.
On a typical weekend you can find me updating my blog, snapping some pictures or listening to my iPod. I enjoy wearing a fedora and neck ties. I love hanging out in coffee shops, going to 80s dance nights and singing Journey at karaoke. Acting is my artistic outlet and I aspire to be the star of a cult classic.
I love photographing everything and writing my thoughts down in my little black book I carry everywhere. I have a huge case of wanderlust, which has merely increased after traveling to Europe in 2008. I love finding abandoned buildings and collecting the useless junk I may find. I am an amateur ghost hunter and enjoy watching movies in different languages.
Other than that, I own an impressive collection of movies. I play extreme air hockey. I collect poison rings and skeleton keys. I meditate. I quote movies because I'm hip. I love London and want it to be my future home. I don't hug trees but I do give them reassuring pats. I question everything. I thrive for excitement and am overly bubbly just because.
